Stew
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of dried white beans (200g)
- 1 cup of corn (150g)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1 medium potato, diced
- 200g of chorizo sausage, sliced
- 200g of beef, cubed
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups of water (1L)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Large pot
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Measuring cups
- Wooden spoon
Instructions:
- Soak the dried white beans in water overnight.
- In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the sliced chorizo and cubed beef to the pot, cooking until browned.
- Stir in the diced carrot and potato, cooking for a few minutes.
- Add the soaked beans, corn, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper to the pot.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 60 minutes, or until the beans and vegetables are tender.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
