  • 400g firm tofu, cubed
  • 300g broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:

  • Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  • In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create a marinade.

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated tofu to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Return the tofu to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and stir everything together for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
