Oatmeal with Berries

 


Oatmeal with berries is a warm, creamy bowl of oats topped with fresh, sweet-tart berries for a healthy and delicious start to the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats (90g)
  • 2 cups water (480ml)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (75g)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (12g)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (16g)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (21g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot
  • Stirring spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add 1 cup of rolled oats to the boiling water and reduce heat to medium.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are soft and creamy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Top the oatmeal with 1/2 cup of mixed berries, 1 tablespoon of almond butter, and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of honey.
